How to properly use a leak detector?

Fill the detector with water and place it on the edge or steps of the pool so that it is in contact with the pool water. After 24–48 hours, compare the change in water level in the detector and in the pool. If the level in the pool has dropped more, there is a leak. If the changes are the same, water is lost due to natural evaporation.
How to tell the difference between a leak and normal evaporation?

Evaporation affects the water in the pool and the detector equally because both are under the same temperature and wind conditions. If the pool level drops faster, it's a leak. In hot, dry weather, a pool can lose up to 2–3 cm per week due to evaporation – this is normal.
Where to look for the leak after detecting it?

The most common leak locations are pipe joints, fittings, the skimmer, embedded parts, the bottom drain, and points where pipes pass through the pool walls. If a leak is confirmed, we recommend contacting a diagnostics specialist to accurately pinpoint the damage.
