Frequently Asked Questions

Which Injecta stations is this electrode compatible with?

The electrode is designed for Injecta Elite series automatic water treatment stations – specifically Elite PR, Elite PRC, and Elite Doppio. The standard Ø12 mm diameter and BNC connector also ensure compatibility with other pH controllers featuring a BNC input. To confirm compatibility with a specific model, we recommend contacting a manager.

Why is the electrode's lifespan only 1 year?

The pH electrode is a consumable item whose sensitive glass membrane gradually degrades under the influence of chemical reagents, chlorine, and temperature fluctuations. After 12 months of active use, measurement accuracy decreases, leading to incorrect dosing. Timely replacement of the electrode guarantees stable chemical water balance.

Should a new electrode be calibrated before use?

Yes. Before the first use and regularly during operation, it is recommended to calibrate the electrode using standard buffer solutions pH 7.0 and pH 9.0 or pH 4.0. This ensures measurement accuracy and correct automatic chemical dosing in the Elite system.
