Frequently Asked Questions

For what volume of a pool is the CC150 filter suitable?

The CC150 filter with a flow rate of 14 m³/h is suitable for pools with a volume of up to 70–110 m³ with a standard filtration cycle of 6–8 hours per day. This is an optimal choice for medium-sized private pools that require fine filtration down to 20 microns.

What makes a cartridge filter better than a sand filter?

A cartridge filter traps particles down to 20 microns – significantly finer than a sand filter (usually 40–60 microns). This ensures crystal clear water. Also, a cartridge filter does not require backwashing – which saves water and chemicals during maintenance.

How often should I clean the cartridge?

The frequency of cleaning depends on the pool's usage and the level of contamination. Typically, the cartridge is cleaned 2–4 times per season – when the pressure in the filter increases by 0.5–1 bar from the initial level. Backwashing takes a few minutes – simply open the top cover and rinse the cartridge with a hose.
