Frequently Asked Questions

How does an ozone-resistant filter differ from a standard DIN Norm filter?

Ozone is a powerful oxidizer that destroys ordinary rubber gaskets and some polymer materials. The ozone-resistant version features special internal components made of materials resistant to an aggressive ozone environment, which ensures a long service life when used with ozone disinfection systems.

In which disinfection systems is an ozone-resistant filter required?

An ozone-resistant filter is essential when using ozonators for pool disinfection. Ozonation is an eco-friendly alternative to chlorine that provides superior cleaning quality. In this regard, the entire water treatment circuit, including the filter, must be made of ozone-resistant materials.

What pool volume is the Ø620 mm filter suitable for?

A filter with a Ø620 mm diameter has a flow rate of up to 15 m³/h at a velocity of 50 m³/h/m², which is suitable for pools up to 80–120 m³ with a standard filtration cycle of 6–8 hours per day.
