The filter system is installed on a sound-absorbing plastic plate, with a self-priming plastic filter and a large hair and lint trap. Features a large top service opening (220 mm diameter) and an integrated nozzle cross. Drain valve with hose connection, pressure gauge with manual air bleed. Without threaded connection valve.

Required filter material: high-efficiency glass filter media, quartz sand for drinking water according to DIN EN 12904.

Can this filter be used for sea or saltwater?
Yes, but only if the body, pump, and valve themselves are corrosion-resistant. In such a case, it is strongly recommended to use glass media, as sand can eventually cake in a saline environment.

How do I drain water from the filter for winter?
The body is equipped with a drain valve with a special fitting for quick hose connection (GARDENA type). This allows for easy emptying of the tank for pool winterization.
