The waterproofness of tiles and mosaics is minimal, but water inevitably absorbs into the seams, and when it freezes, the ice pushes out or damages the tiles/mosaics, leading to their deterioration. For finishing the bottom and sides of a swimming pool, a specially designed Renolit Alkorplan TOUCH membrane, made of polyvinyl chloride, is used. The membrane thickness is 2 mm, consisting of two layers with a polyester mesh laid between them, making it practically impossible to damage such a film under normal operating conditions.

The material includes bactericidal and antifungal additives, which significantly reduce the possibility of slime and organic contamination forming on the pool surface.
