Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an inclined anchor and a horizontal AS 11.080 anchor?

The inclined anchor AC 11.070 is installed at an angle relative to the pool wall surface, which ensures optimal load direction from the tensioned lane rope. The horizontal anchor AC 11.080 is installed parallel to the surface. The choice depends on the structural features of the wall of a specific overflow pool. The dimensions of both anchors are almost identical — 95×95×120 mm versus 95×95×122 mm for the horizontal one.

Which material option should I choose — AISI 304 or AISI 316L?

AISI 304 is suitable for most standard chlorinated pools and is a more affordable option. AISI 316L with molybdenum is recommended for saltwater pools and high-traffic commercial facilities where maximum corrosion resistance is required.

When is an anchor installed – during construction or later?

The anchor is embedded directly into the concrete structure of the pool shell during construction. Installation into a finished pool is impossible without dismantling the lining. It is important to determine the quantity and exact locations of the anchors in advance, during the design phase.
