Frequently Asked Questions

How does this rope holder differ from the model for liner pools (AC 11.040)?

Both models have the same dimensions of 95×95×74 mm and a hinged design. The key difference is the installation method: AC 11.041 is built into the concrete shell of a tiled pool, while AC 11.040 is built into the structure of a liner pool. The weight of the tiled version is 0.42 kg versus 0.6 kg for the liner version – due to different mounting designs.

Which material option should I choose - AISI 304 or AISI 316L?

AISI 304 is suitable for most standard chlorinated pools and is a more affordable option. AISI 316L with molybdenum is recommended for saltwater pools, commercial facilities with heavy use, or higher chemical concentrations.

When is the rope holder installed – during construction or later?

The rope holder is an anchor fitting — it is embedded directly into the concrete structure of the pool bowl during construction. Installation in an existing tiled pool is impossible without dismantling the tiles and concrete. Therefore, it is important to anticipate the number and locations during the design phase.
