APF® — international certification for water park and water attraction professionals
APF® (Aquatic Play Feature Professional) is a specialized international training program for professionals responsible for the operation of water parks, water attractions, and modern water entertainment complexes.
APF® training is available exclusively to participants who have successfully completed the Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) program. This requirement ensures that participants already possess fundamental knowledge of water treatment, disinfection, water balance, and pool operation, and the APF® course allows them to advance to the next professional level.
The training covers the specifics of operating water parks, children's water playgrounds, water slides, lazy rivers, and other water attractions. Special attention is paid to risk management, visitor safety, the specifics of water circulation and disinfection, personnel work, emergency response, and effective facility management.
The program is based on international experience in operating water entertainment complexes and is intended for managers, chief engineers, technical directors, pool operators, and safety specialists.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an international APF® certificate, confirming their competence in the field of water park and water attraction management and operation in accordance with international industry standards.
Important: a valid Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) certificate is a mandatory prerequisite for participation.
