Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to install an additional flow sensor?
For EWT 80-81 models, the presence of a pressure switch provides basic safety with standard installation. However, if the heater is installed below the pool water level (more than 0.5 m), the built-in pressure sensor loses its effectiveness. In this case, the official instructions require the installation of a separate mechanical flow switch.
What material are the heating element and casing made of?
The heating element is made of Incoloy 825 alloy – a high-quality alloy containing nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, which provides excellent corrosion resistance. The casing itself is made of heat-resistant and high-quality plastic that can withstand operating pressure up to 3 bar.
Can the electric heater be used for saltwater?
Incoloy 825 alloy can withstand chloride content up to 3000 mg/l. However, for pools with electrolysis systems (saltwater), it is best to consult installers beforehand, strictly control chlorine levels, and maintain the correct pH level.
