The Behncke heat exchanger is a high-temperature heat exchanger with a stainless steel outer shell and an integrated stainless steel coil. Thanks to the use of a smooth tube, the formation of limescale on the primary side is impossible, provided regular maintenance is performed.

When using the counterflow principle during heat exchange, hot and cold water pass side by side without direct contact. This is achieved through specially manufactured smooth-tube coils that can handle constant and therefore virtually lossless operating pressure. The result is maximum energy efficiency of the heat exchanger.
