GRIFFON Kolmat EasyFit is an anaerobic sealant and locking agent for metal threaded connections in water supply, heating, gas, steam, fuel, and compressed air systems.
Advantages
- designed for conical and cylindrical metal threaded connections;
- suitable for copper, brass, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and other metals;
- works with cold and hot water, steam, gas, oil, glycol, and compressed air;
- suitable for diameters up to 4” according to ISO 7-1;
- maximum gap for bonding — 0.35 mm.
Application
- surfaces must be cleaned and degreased before application;
- applied to the first threads of the male and female parts;
- initial curing at ≥20°C — 3–6 hours;
- final curing — 12–24 hours, for stainless steel — up to 72 hours.
